As a child, I always wanted to play the drums. My mother made a deal with me: If I learned the piano, she would let me learn the drums later. I wanted none of that piano stuff! Anyway, at age 25, I got the chance to play drums again, and I jumped on it. I've played for numerous African-American churches and choirs, as well as learning about the contemporary Christian music scene. Although I consider singing my best talent, I love playing the drums and I thank the Lord for the opportunity to play for Him and Him only. I made a promise to God that, if given the chance to play for a band, I would dedicate it all to him—I've kept that promise! Jakob's Night is the band that I feel the Lord has commissioned to take a word to many people needing a change, healing and knowing that God is real. This ministry is temporary, but Heaven is eternal! Until He returns!!!
